Does anyone have the government form for the old S21?
I don't want the new one as the tenancy started before 1 Oct 2015.
Many thanks in advance.

I am just worried about how it says I should have given them a rental booklet. the Contract started in August so I didn't need to, but I don't want any funny business.
We did the deposit protection and gas safety etc just not the rental booklet.0 -
Presumebly they aren't in fixed term (or atleast wont be by the time notice expires?0

no the term ends in August.
We are giving them plenty of notice.
Even though we have a break clause we are letting them stay until August.
Unfortunately they are losing their home because of George Osborne taking away the mortgage interest relief.
It is a real shame, they are lovely tenants and we would have let them stay for as long as they wanted. Being higher rate employed paye tax payers we are sick of paying so much to the government in addition to paying 40% on the rent and now getting into capital gains land, so we are selling up.0 -

On the contrary.0 -
Seems a fair decision all round.
It may be worth considering selling to them?0 -

I believe that the new regulations specify that a prescribed form must be used for all s21 notices issued for post 1/10/15 tenancies. Previously there was no prescribed form, and there is nothing to prevent anyone using the prescribed form for old tenancies.0 -

They are trying to get funds together. We have given them a reduced price and a deadline before putting it on the open market.
It is a London property so is quite a lot of money to pool together.
I would love for them to buy the house we loved it the 6 years we lived there and would love to know it is going to a wonderful family.0
