OK so I did post before and have been trying to get my head round it and still cant.
There is a debt on my credit file for £3,080 from Provident with the dates
account start date 26/11/10 and a default date of 31/10/2011
There is a debt for Lowell which was originally provident with the dates
account start date 26/11/10 and a default date of 31/10/2011
But the amount is for £5,180
My partner has the exact same debts on his account same amounts same dates both showing as active.
Provident do not offer joint loans and none are said to be connected accept the amount and dates for both!
We did have a loan with real personal finance back in 2009 arranged by my provident agent as a joint loan in which we paid back Monthly from our bank account. Payments ended in 2009 as the company dissolved and as I understand Provident took over them but never tried to reinstate payments.
Only now has this come to light as my partner is being taken to court by Lowell
Is there anyone who has some actual real insight as to why we both have the exact same debts with the exact same dates? Our joint bank accounts shows me and my partner are connected on our credit files but surely if we had a joint loan it would also show as connected in this part?
At the Minute Lowell have not complied with a CCA request so we can not see when the actual loan is from we have no actual knowledge of any of them dates as we never had interaction with Provident since 2010 when we moved house and settled the account.
