When will people be able to claim UC as a disabled and single claim? UC is within my area yet appears I don't meet the requirements to claim at the moment.
Was wondering if the DWP have stated when they hope to have disabled people claim UC instead of Working Tax Credit. In all honesty I am hoping it will be a few years yet!

The original plan was for all claimants to be on UC by early 2016, that hasn't happened. As I recall there are only a couple of hundred thousand on UC so far. They are predominantly the very straightforward claims such as single people with no kids, who were previously claiming JSA.
I would guess, and it can only be a guess, that you are at least a couple of years away from any move.0 -
