I think I've muddled water somewhat. So, the son is classified as a non-dependant but the deductions does not apply, is that correct?0

i can't fi nd any reference to a disabled non dependant affecting the non dependant deduction.
it has to be the claimant or the cllaimants partner than is disabled0 -
