Cheapest new PC possible

Ok, my mum's PC (an intel Celeron 900) is on its last legs and she wants it replacing. She only NEEDS a new base until as the monitor, mouse and keyboard are fine, whats the cheapest I can get one for thats got XP? Specs are really unimportant as she only uses it for the internet and occassional word doc.

How about £163 delivered with a years onsite warranty?

Dell Vostro 200 MT, Windows XP home, 512Mb RAM, 160Gb HDD, DVD rewriter drive....

Go to www.dell.co.uk, click on small business, then down left hand side 'shop by evalue code'. In the first box, enter 305, then next box enter D09V01a. Drop the warranty to the minimum, change to Windows XP, change to dvd rewriter, remove the monitor.

Spend just £19 more for a much better machine though - twice the memory, much better processor, bigger HDD - use 305 D09V02
  • Thats fantastic, I don't think she could argue with that and it will certainly do the job for her! I don't think anyone will be able to beat that!

Thanks. Personally i'd spend the extra £19 on the better spec'd one, but the cheaper one will be fine if you're running XP on it.
  • I reckon these have got to be the cheapest pc's i've seen on the net, especially from a place i trust.

    Thanks MS
One can find many e-value code links at DmxDimension. No need to enter any codes as they link direct to the discounted systems with the code included. G
