Update: Well after sending a letter of complaint, I've now received a full refund and an apology from William H. Brown (of Sequence UK).
People need to realise that without saying anything, these guys are taking your money when you failed a tenant check! In my case it was £300!
I hope this thread serves as inspiration to others, and don't be fobbed off by their excuses.0 -

Yeah, I've seen other prospective tenants take this line and they've managed to also get their money back.
As an aside; I'm going to see if I can get the data held on me from the actual TLC (Tenant Letting Check) company. I'll try the SAR approach. My argument is that they may actually hold info on me that is out of date/incorrect, ect (which may hamper my chances of getting a roof over my bonce!).0
