I would put it back on ASAP , in my opinion the agent may want them to see there advisor to see what the max the buyer can offer and then the agent may come back with this offer. As others have said an independent advisor will be seeing a lot of the market.

Put it back on now because that gives the EA time to get buyers round this weekend.
If the OP waits until the weekend to tell them then its not really back on until next weekend.

The prospective bidders need an incentive to get their *rs*s in gear.

Dont forget, the buyers did absolutely nothing for 6 weeks. Who knows how serious they are. If they are, they are a fair way along so they are ahead of any new buyers.

I'd have the EA tell them you are not doing this to gazump them, if they get their act together you will still sell to them, but you have no faith that their solicitor / broker / mortgage company is competent (I sugegst putting it that way to make it non personal and not criticise them and have them pull out in a fit of pique)
  • Thanks for the feedback everyone.

I sure will. I want to go back on the market but hubby didn't, at lunch time. I have not been able to get hold of him since so it will be an over dinner chat and then let the agent know tomorrow. We will probably compromise and do what I want :rotfl:

Like your pp, I think we need to get back on ASAP and hopefully get some viewers this weekend. I'm not dismissing the current buyers, but given how long they have had I think going back on the market is the sensible option.

    Thanks once again.
