House purchase

Dear all,
A general question if I may and wonder if anyone else has been involved in such a venture.
History: My wife and I owned a property in UK, sold it and moved here to Portugal.
Question: If we sold this property here and moved back to UK, would/could we be classed as "First-time buyers"?
Any advice appreciated
Thank you

Classed by whom? There isn't a universal definition of "first-time buyer".

In terms of not needing to first sell a house before buying, and being at the bottom of a chain, many people will consider you a FTB. But as David says, there's no firm definition.
