Claiming from Capital One

Ive currently got The Claims Guys checking for PPI for me and so far they've had success with Citibank and MBNA. I asked them to check Capital One and give them the same reason they used for the previous claims. Capital One came back and have said that as it was a postal application and I ticked the box, I knew what I was buying so they have rejected my claim. Is it possible to challenge this decision as Citibank and MBNA were both done this way too. Is it up to me to go to the ombudsman or the claims guys. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

You have the right to refer your case to the FOS but online applications do have lower consumer protection (as no-one sold it to you) and as long as the option was to select to have it and the wording correct, then they are right to reject your complaint. Is it up to me to go to the ombudsman or the claims guys.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
