HTB ISA have you succeeded?

Hello has anybody claimed the 25% back on your HTB ISA via your solicitors?

How long did it take & what did the 25% contribute too in the end....

Any experiences great fully received!:beer:

Many people seem to be falling foul to the system and struggling with it - particularly where there is an advanced exchange. I've not noticed anyone on the forum being successful. One issue that has appeared to have caused many confusion is that the bonus cannot be used on exchange when completion is delayed, which means that the deposit often has to be reduced to reflect the bonus gained from HTB which many vendors maybe reluctant to do.

Good luck, oh and for future - it's gratefully :).

Yup I got it last week. You need to close your account a few weeks before completion and give closing statement to solicitor. If you solicitor is good, s/he will already know what to do with it.
Just don't leave it too late, our solicitor took their time applying for it and we got the bonus the day before completion!

Presumably you had a gap between exchange and completion. What happens where you exchange and complete within 1/2 weeks?
