Is the estate agent putting us off making a purchase?

Yes getting director to vendor is much better. You can hear from them directly and also speak to them directly. It saves time and allows you to plain and open with them and they will hopefully be the same as well.
I recently had the chance to speak to a homeowner and it's easier to speak to them directly.
It can be a lot easier and it removes the tension, hassle and politics that sometimes occur with estate agents. However, there are some great agents out there but getting direct to vendor is best.0 -
I've recently had an estate agent shouting abuse at me down the phone (I refused to increase an offer and he knew vendor was about to leave for another agency). I told the agents I am selling with how rattled I was and they offered to do all negotiations for me in the future, no extra charge. Its worth their while as it keeps my sale, and their commission, on track.0
