How on earth did you get a visa?0

I believe that only Saudi airlines and BMI fly direct from the UK.
Saudi fly every day and BMI fly Tues, Thurs & Sun, returning on Mon, Weds and Fri. To be honest I don't think you're going to have much luck finding a cheap flight as its not really a popular route.
It might be worth giving Masterfare a call (0207 420 7333 or 0161 225 1770) as according to BMIs website they deal with people booking for religious pilgrimages so they may be able to give you some more specialist advice about who flies and what price deals are around.
I'm also intruiged about how you managed to get a visa! I once looked into it and saw that it was sooo difficult.0 -
worth asking an ASIAN travel(no silly comments required) agent they usually get the visa for you and might even be cheaper than the high street travel agent
most of them do all inclusive prices e.g tickets visa hotel and transfersHonesty is the best policy doesn't matter which web site
you are on!
if i had known then what i know now!
a bargain is only a bargain if you really need it!0 -
The cheapest price I found at Kelkoo was £617, from opodo.co.uk.

Perhaps Scousers is a Saudi national? Or maybe he is going on a pilgrimage and is sponsored for the visa by his mosque?
Anyway, a cheap flight to Dubai or Cairo, and an onward flight from there, might be the way to go.0 -
Air France, Gulf Air and Qatar all fly from about £300+tax - maybe try them direct as some of the bigger (online) companies might not hold contracts.0

you can get one very easily as a pilgrim, I have been three times.
My dad gets a business visa and goes to Saudi every few years, he's been to Riyadh.0 -
