Can anyone advise of a free download alternative to Microsoft Publisher? When I do a google search I see a number of free alternatives but none of the names are familiar to me. I am just enquiring to see if anyone can recommend any of the alternatives.

Scribus is an alternative.
Never used it myself. But looks pretty nifty.0 -
Serif Page Plus Starter edition FREE

Scribus is good but a headache for anyone used to Publisher. Serif PagePlus is very similar to Publisher and there is a free 'starter' edition (actually a non-current version). Unless you want all the bells and whistles it will serve you well.0
