Does airport parking cost more in peak season?

Hi,
So, I am looking to book airport parking for next month, the advice is to book as far in advance as possible for the cheapest price.
When I look for quotes, it costs more to park next month than it would next week. Is that because it is going into summer so the prices rise? Or would I be better off waiting and booking last minute to get a cheaper price.
Any thoughts?
Thank you!

Have you had a good read of the "Cheap Airport Parking Guide" here? - Plenty of ways to get the costs down.

Hi, thank you for your reply! Yes I have had a good read but searching for parking seems to contradict what it says as parking for next week is cheaper than next month!
So I can't work out if that is because next month is going into peak season or if I wait until last minute, it will be cheaper...if that makes sense?0 -
It's simply demand driven.
Next week's parking in the medium stay at LBA has cost me £41 for 7 days (booked months ago), parking there for 36 hours booked the day before cost me £37 last week.Change is inevitable, except from a vending machine.0 -
go on purple parking and put NHS or RAC code in always good prices.0
