Is there a way to stop tweetbots or is it a case of blocking them all. I have just enetred 3 comps on twittter and within 5 mins, 30 people have retweeted and followed me :mad::mad:

I'm a relatively inexperienced twit, how can you tell if it's a bot? If they are Uk ones, follow them and rt what they are doing! Or at least stick them in a list to watch for decent comps.#JusticeForGrenfell0

If I think they're just a bod, I'll send them a tweet referring them to my pinned tweet which asks people NOT to RT my posts but to go to the actual post and RT that. I don't want the notifications, plus they may find themselves not entered! If they ignore me and do it again, or anyone that has done it three times, they get blocked
I'm a harsh mistress lol.
If you're sure they're bots, just block each one. Better than nothing. Can't remember where the block button is, but it's very easy to find (prob on their profile page).
