Cashback on Clarity Credit Card

Hello,

I currently have the Halifax Reward current account and receive the £5 monthly reward.

If I was to apply for the Halifax Clarity Credit card would I be entitled to £5 a month cashback on that as well?

On this MSE site it says the Clarity credit card gives £5 cashback but on the Halifax website I can't see anywhere that mentions cashback.

Can someone clarify for me:
(i) does the Clarity credit card pay £5 per month cashback?
(ii) would I be entitled to £5 cashback if I already receive £5 reward from my current account?

Thank You :)

There are some draft T&Cs for the product on their website. Section 11 covers the Reward payment.

    Safe they still only draft?

Yes I think so. All their credit card product T&Cs are marked as 'draft' on their website. Reason being, as they say at head of each document...
DRAFT CREDIT CARD AGREEMENT REGULATED BY THE CONSUMER CREDIT ACT 1974.

Please refer to the summary box for product specific information displayed as X's in this document, for the card(s) you're considering.

Does it say anything on your paper bill?

Mine says something like "as you have spent over £300 this month you will receive a £5 credit on your next statement".

My CC statement is issued around the 26th/27th of a month. I usually pay in full around the 15th of the following month. The £5 credit usually shows up on my account online about 7-10 days later.

You do need to pay off your statement in full to qualify for the £5 reward.

Nothing on the PDF. Alas, I'm paperless.

    Ah, I'm too keen. Thanks.

    I don't think that's the case.

I am new to Halifax Clarity Credit Card and have also not had a £5 for two statements now. I have spent over £300 per month and also made sure my Reward Current account has had the minimum £1000 monthly credit for this reward ( different from the reward current account £5). The only thing is I have been too keen and paid the balance off at statement date or just after. Still I phoned Halifax and they couldn't see why I wouldn't have got the reward cashback. I have got to wait though for 10 working days for them to look into it.
