Hi ,
My other half and her friend are in the process of setting up a hair dressing buisness
They are entering into a 50/50 business partnership, they have decided on a business name but are wondering if they have to legally register this name and if so where they go to do this
Also any info on prices to do this would be handy
They have already both registered as self employed with HMRC
thanks in advance

Only way to try to register the name would be to form a limited company using the name. If you are entering a partnership, get someone qualified in law to look over your written agreement. They could also advise you whether a limited company would be a good idea.0
