  • This is a problem I've had for last few years.

Right now - my suspicions are focusing on iron and iodine deficiencies (especially in view of the fact I've not eaten meat for decades). So I'm taking an iron supplement and currently investigating what (natural) ways I can deal with a thyroid gland that is possibly hypothyroid (currently investigating that.....).
  • even I have lose my few hair and i have no Idea what to do, all I am doing is using natural oils to prevent my situation , but don;t know its worth it or not

There is a natural treatment available i have read one time. It is a spray and I saw it was effective. You can research about that. I saw it in a commercial but I forgot already.

If there was a remedy I think Prince William and Prince Philip would have found out about it?
I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.

I think caffeine is supposed to be good, you can get it in shampoo and conditioners. I think there is an advert for it, a German brand if I remember correctly but I can't remember a name. I might google it.

Alpecin and it is German. Not sure if it works. There is a laser comb I have heard of and it is supposed to be good but I think its expensive.

When I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism it cured my hair problems. Once I was on med my hair, skin and nails were much healthier and I lost most of the weight I had put on while waiting for the diagnosis. Have you had a blood test? I got my test result in 24 hours and I have a blood test every twelve months to check my dosage is still correct.

My hair is thinning on the front too. Actually you can see the scalp a bit. After the usual blood tests and iron, vitamin D tablets recommended by my GP I was referred to a dermatologist. He confirmed it was caused by my mirena coil and gave it a name (something like androgenic alopecia). Anyway his treatment was minoxidil. It is available without prescription. I did NOT use it as it does not guarantee results and can further worsen hair loss in some women. I just have one hair style now which isn't revealing. So I have stopped worrying about it.

Applying warm pure coconut oil in the night on the scalp and hair and washing in the morning makes my hair feel thicker.

If you find some solution on your research please share on here :D

An understandable point - but they're men and it "goes with the territory" for men to lose hair and is more acceptable.

Possibly some of the men that lose hair might have an undiagnosed health problem. I definitely don't believe women lose hair just as "one of those things" - I believe it is a result of a health problem and it's necessary to trace what that problem is.

I'm currently awaiting the result of a blood test. It seemed like an obvious start point and I have what, apparently, is THE "red flag" sign of the outer third of my eyebrows have gone missing on me.

I've also got some books through that I'm currently reading re iodine deficiency (as apparently that can create hypothyroid type symptoms). "The Iodine Crisis" by Lynne Farrow is a book I'm currently reading and its making a lot of sense to me.

I gather a noticeable number of people with thyroid problems get an (apparently) clear test result back anyway.

Androgenic alopaecia is also know as "male pattern baldness"(although it can present more generally in women) and is both hormonal and genetic. Did the situation improve when you had the coil taken out?
