    You get what you pay for. In my experience L and C are generally pretty good and its not in their interests to foul up their brokers' commission by recommending dodgy solicitors.

    That said I would generally rather use someone who has an office I can sit in if things start to go wrong. Though the last time I did this the bricks and mortar solicitor was more useless than the online one i had tried before.
