Car rental question
Hi all
We're off to the Seychelles soon and want to rent a car whilst there. Do we need to do anything special before we leave the UK? I read somewhere that you have to get a code(?) from the DVLA for renting overseas, is that correct and does it cover the Seychelles? Thank you.

You will find that hire car companies outside the UK will not request the code to check your license. You might need a international license, available from a main Post Office for £5. I've only ever needed mine in Indonesia & Japan, so you might be ok in The Seychelles, for the sake of £5, it's worth having one.0
