First National Bank

Having to jump through hoops regarding PPI sold to me when l took out a loan for a kitchen installed and provided by Space Kitchens, this was 1999. As FNB is now a part of GE Money GE are washing there hands of the claim stating that l should be chasing Space Kitchens. Space Kitchens are now out of business. lm sure this has been discussed previously. l have a couple of questions if anyone can shed light on.

1/ As FNB is part of the GE Money group would that mean GEM should be obligated to refund, even thought they are saying no. l would have thought that any third party would have to comply with the GEM ethics in regards to selling products. As the PPI was bundled into the loan amount all payments where made to FNB.
2/ Is it possible to claim the PPI back from the loan under writers if they are not FNB. How can l find out who the under writers where. ( no longer have paperwork, only an account number.

lm not willing to let this go as its a sizable sum and now lm unemployed l could do with the funds.

The PPI was sold by Space Kitchens. 1999 would be pre-regulation. GEM will say 'no', and the FOS will probably agree with them.

Possibly Cardif Pinnacle. Some success has been reported following that route.
