Should I start hounding??

So we signed the contract for a house sale back on 30/3. Our solicitor put forward a completion date of this Friday 15th (to give the vendors enough time to get in and sign etc)
We received an email this morning from our solicitor regarding paying the deposit and fees which are due before completion. I rang them and they have confirmed that they are still waiting to receive the signed contact from vendor but they are still aiming for completion for Friday. So what I have gathered from the conversation is that no exchange has taken place and the completion date is still not confirmed. The house we are buying is empty and there are 4 vendors that need to sign (think its family members as the house was their parents)
I'm sitting waiting a callback from the EA (was with a client when I called). My solicitor has said they will have the money from Halifax on Friday so I assume they've already requested the funds.
I thought that 2 weeks would have been plenty of time for them to go in and sign, according to the EA they are ready to complete asap (this was back on 30th March when I rang to let them know we had signed and to get onto vendors to sort theirs out)
My question is, am I being impatient or should I be hounding the EA and my solicitor to get this sorted, I can't really rest until I know they've signed and everything is legally binding.
The offer was accepted end of Jan, full mortgage offer and solicitor was instructed mid Feb.
Any advice would be appreciated

Well 4 siblings could live hundreds of miles apart, or even abroad so it might need shuttling round various offices of solicitors closer to each signatory. No point hounding your solicitor but the EA would probably like their commission, which is due upon exchange so they're your best bet.
2.5 months is not bad at all from offer to completion. Ours was well over that0
