I do know there are 3 types of surveys and what they are. I hope so I only bought a house 7 weeks ago.
I am pretty sure on my paper work from Mortgage company they gave your 3 suggestions and put in suggested dates as well.
Suggesting if the house was older than 1930's to have full survey and if post 1930's a basic survey.
When I replied I forget the the names of the surveys. I assumed that is allowed.

I only went into more detail to explain to the OP and anyone else interested the options.
Different lenders call the surveys different things sometimes and give diffrent recommendations as to what survey you should have - which is why it makes it confusing for someone who has never bought a house before.0 -
