Leylandii Trees

Can't remember if I have asked this on here but does anyone know if I can cut down a leylandii tree (the one with the star) without any sort of permissions from the council. On the council website it talks checking for nesting birds which I have checked and there is no nests whatsoever. From Googling it seems the Leylandii cannot be subject to a TPO but I might be wrong on that. Trying to get through to the council "Tree Department" but its excruciating.

The council will not have put a TPO on an individual leylandii so it will only have a TPO if there is a blanket one for all the trees in the area. If there isn't you can chop it down ( subject to no nesting birds)0
