Aluminium Bifolds

Hi, I had aluminium bifold doors fitted in my property when I bought the house about a year ago, I haven't got around to completing the room until recently and I just noticed there is a draught coming through the new doors and when looking closer at this realised that there is a significant gap at the bottom right of the closing door (and frame) roughly 6mm and the seal is not touching however the top of the doors and the other 2 panels are sealed well. I haven't tried any adjustments as of yet because I don't know much about these type of things but I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction of how to fix this problem ?

Thanks

Is the seal actually there? Is the seal adjustable or can it be replaced with a larger one? Contact the people who installed the door and ask their advice?
  • The seal is there yes, I did think about a new seal but I thought there maybe a way to adjust the locks or hinge ? as the rest of the doors are tight and sealed very well its just the bottom right corner.

Did the company that supply them fit them, or was it another builder/installer?

I have them in my house and the builder fitted them - but it took his guy over 2 days to even get close to getting them right, and they have since dropped a bit. I have the option to get the supplier out to adjust and true them up but its £250+ charge so I havent got round to it yet.

The margins between the doors and the seals are all quite tight though - just a 2mm overlap between the frame and the seal.
  • The company that provided them also fitted, the job was done in a day however I clearly didn't pay enough attention once completed. They slide and open very easy there is no catching on frame and everything is level. I may just have to pay a call out charge :(

Didn't you get any kind of warranty? The last doors/windows I had fitted came with free adjustments for 10 years, used them once or twice.
