just browsing through ebay... and came across this person....with my chemical romance tickets...
bidding ends in approx 6 hours but they are saying that they will post the tickets out between now and 5 days before the gig:eek:
looked at their feedback and some poor person thought they were buying 2 tickets for some festival and only recieved 1 and paid £400. and received it the day before the festival ....
i am sure that ebay states that before you list any concert tickets that you have got to have them in oyur possession....
really fee like reported this person, as they give other geniune ticket sellers a bad name...
just noticed that he has got 15 listings all for concert tickets all ending today or tomorrow..all saying all the same about delivery and some are quite high in price

Well, whatever they are doing they are in breach of ebay terms..they must be able to provide the buyer with their item within 30 days of auction end.
Since paypal protection expires after 45 days a buyer would have to be a real risk taker to bid on this auction.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I'm sure the last time I looked event tickets are now a banned item.0

They're not banned altogether (though some categories may be, e.g. football tickets and tickets for certain specific events like the Diana concert) but there are rules: the face value must be stated (the seller has done so in this case) and, as has been mentioned, they must be able to deliver within 30 days of the end of the auction, which is where this seller is breaking the rules.steviebabes wrote: »I'm sure the last time I looked event tickets are now a banned item.
I also note that they do not specify postage method: the £5 p&p is for "Seller's standard rate", which could leave the buyer up the proverbial creek if it's not Special Delivery.0 -
My Chem tickets are usually notoriously late in arriving as well. Every time Ive been to see them my tickets havent turned up until the week before.
Seetickets still had seating available for most venues they are playing up untilo yesterday.0 -

So technically after 30 days you could request a refund if you dont have your tickets by then

You can start a chargeback a week after you paid and if the seller cannot prove delivery then you win the chargeback. However a scammer will be long gone with the money by then, which is why it is always best to pay via a credit card when using paypal as you can fall back onto them to recover your money.
It is a foolish seller that does not conform to ebay terms and conditions as all that will happen is that buyers will put in a protective claim before the 45 day time period ends..and that just causes a lot of hassle.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
