Monday 11th April - what small DFW things will you do today?

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free.
Examples could be hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important

Morning all :hello:

Hot drink on commute to work
Lunch to work (soup I made yesterday)
Tea bag from use up box for drink
Curry I made yesterday for quick tea
List a few bits on fleabay tonight or at least gather them all in one place

DH to take small swimming after school using membership
One thing off April/annoying things list.
Yesterday I cleaned out the porch which I realised was annoying me (although not on official list:o) was tempted to put it on after every just so I could cross it off :rotfl:
Have a good day folks, PF0 -
Morning PF and all that follow :hello:
Very quiet here this morning - my kids don't go back to school until tomorrow so there's only me and the cats up and about. I've not even gotten as far as putting the telly on this morning, which is amazing for someone like me who loves a bit of background noise.
So - back to the world of work and back into routine - here's today's list.
check banking and PAD
aim for nsd
all meals from stores
full day of teaching
keep time diary as requested by the Head
get home asap after work so my mam doesn't have to babysit for too long
aim for 7000 steps (hopefully more)
try not to stress
get the kids to get ready for school tomorrow
get an early night.
Have a good day everyone. :TNot giving up
Working hard to pay off my debt
Time to take back control

Good morning all... Well, this weekend was a bit of a washout financially. Ended up spending money both days so no NSDs
to declare. My short shift at work yesterday ended up being a long one so take-away and bottle of wine on the way home as a treat. I wish I could lose this mentality
So must not spend any money today..
Things for today:
- add to ebay listings
- continue decluttering and look for more stuff to list on amazon/ebay
- try and list item on etsy
- send off references for new job and hopefully get more work
- submit timesheets for approval to get paid
- eat from cupboards/freezer
- chk into Tesco clubcard as think I don't have all my clubcard vouchers
Hope everyone has a lovely day

Morning all,
Thanks for starting us off PF!
My brothers wedding on Friday was really lovely- weather was nice enough to give us some blue skies for photos before it started to rain.
SIL's mum put a £1000 tab behind the bar so we didn't end up buying drinks so it was a free night (other than the outfits and £50 present
)

Work 8-5
Check banking
Send 5 fleabay parcels and arrange h3rmes post for another 5
Surveys
List another 10 items for sale
Lunch from stores- soup
Dinner at my mums

Morning Monday People,
Today I will:
*Peg the laundry outside for free drying.
*Reload washer & set timer for another overnight cheap wash.
*Do rubber chicken. Divvy it up for at least 2 further days of meals plus a sandwich & carcass in SC for stock.
*Shuffle funds around.
*Update grocery budget.
*Wrap ebay parcels
*Plant up strawberry tub with the free plants I potted up from runners last autumn.
*Water veggie babies & seedlings.
*Sow more cress.
*Hoover only the couple of rooms which need it.
*Make tomorrow's packed lunch
*Finish knitting order.
*Open windows instead of switching dehumidifyer on.
Basically keep myself very busy to take my mind off the Car Problem.
Hope you all get off to a good start to the week,
