Bespoke Website Help!

Hi wondering if I can pick your brains please!

I have a little knowledge in code, but wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction for a bespoke website that I am looking at setting up without going straight to a web designer

What I'm looking to produce is a website where people login in with their own username, advertise their item, pay for advertising and I do the rest (ie make it featured, or upload on different mediums etc)

any assistance appreciated!

This sort of work is difficult without knowing a fair amount of code.

You might be able get away with using a CMS based system such as Drupal (although I've not tried this) but you probably will want to look into using a framework such as Laravel.

However, unless you have the time to spare to learn some pretty serious code then I would advise you get in touch with a decent developer.

Honestly very little is bespoke written from the ground up these days, its just not affordable and there's always something that can be customised to do what you want.

Will you be spending more than a £1/4 million on advertising? If not how are you going to attract visitors?

Why would i pay you instead of using something free lice facebook or gumtree and the many many clones?

If you really have a little knowledge in coding, go for the professionally designed templates, like those on templatemonster website. Using one of them, you can easily build a website on your own without going staight to a web developer. Anyway, good luck!
