Paint doors or buy new ones?

Hello everyone,
I'd like to ask your opinion whether it would be better buy and fit new doors instead of painting old doors currently fitted.
House was built in the sixties.
Doors and frames white are not too bad but I worry that even if I paint them they will always look tired.
It seems new doors are not too expensive to buy but rather to fit..
Any advice?
Many thanks!

Good quality (IE solid wood) original doors or particle board and cardboard types?
If the latter I would rip them out and replace with something decent and solid eg MDF door. Hanging a new door isn't overly difficult you just use the old one as a template. Just check the 1960 sizes don't cause younissues0 -
If you aren't bothered about the style I'd say keep them. New ones are cheap to buy, but I paid £40 per door to have a houseful fitted which cost a lot and I wish I'd never bothered tbh! I should have just done the ones on show and left the bedrooms alone0

If you want something special - solid wood, glazed in a particular design etc - or if the design of the old ones is dated, then replace them. If they just look tired because the paint is yellowed/chipped, redecorate.0

I agree with this opinion. If you are looking to change up the look of doors of a certain section of your house or the whole of it then change doors. If not get the redecorating stuff out and freshen up.
You may regret spending the whole lot more money on the new doors, weeks later walking past them/using them thinking there's no difference and i'm "Z amount of pounds down"
Good luck what ever route you decide on
