Additional costs for Extension

I'm think of having an extension and am trying to work out all the expenses I'm going to have to incur.
I have had an architect round to give me a quote and it is below.
Full building regs submission, drawings, specifications, submission and council fee comes to £485+£195
I know I have to have a search done to see where the sewage pipes go (this came up when buying the property).
What other fees will I have to pay to the council?
Any advice would be appreciated.

I would question whether that price is from a registered architect tbh...
You will have the cost of a structural engineer on top, but shouldn't be any further fees to the council...
Presumably it is getting done under permitted development? This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
I don't know what that quote is, but it doesn't look complete. That looks like The building control and planning fees from the council.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Yes, as far as I am aware it is under permitted development.
He is a architectural technologist.
Came recommended but obviously going to get a couple of more quotes.0
