    It is OK, I have sent them a letter quoting the law from a template letter on here telling them to get stuffed if the law applies.

    However, I have added that if they do not agree the law applies then please provide sufficient evidence to make a decision on if the debt is actually valid, simply stating an overpayment has been made is not sufficient detail to make a conscious decision.
