Severe Disability Premium & Enhanced Disability Premium.

Hello I was hoping to get some advice about the severe disability and enhanced disability premiums. My position is that I am in the support group for ESA contribution,I get enhanced daily living and mobility for PIP,I take a small pension of £75 per wk,I live alone and have carers coming to look after me in my home.
Does anyone have any past experience of the severe and enhanced disability premiums,I have been awarded PIP recently and the thought of all the forms all over again is worrying.I would be grateful if anyone can share their experience of this.
Thanks for reading this.

the pension you receive would be the same as the premiums/
because they are means tested, the pension would prevent them from being paid.

you may be eligible for a couple of pounds a week at most

I believe you have to be in receipt of income-related ESA (or an IR top up of contributory ESA)to be eligible for the premiums.

the premiums ARE the income related top up to cont based benefit.

the pension amount would be deducted from the top up and so leave a few pounds, if anything at all.

it may be worth putting in a claim however, because any amount of income related benefit would give full entitlement to housing benefit.council tax support/help with NHS costs
