Boiler/ central heating cover recommendations.

Hi all,

After a less than great day at the hands of Scottish gas team I wonder if anyone could give me recommendations for cover for my boiler/ heating system?

Am in north-east Scotland area.

I signed up with N Power after seeing a special offer. I pay £4.50 per month for the 1st year, which includes a service. ). When my year is nearly up I'll be thinking of cancelling & looking around for another deal as it's bound to be hiked to a lot more than the £4.50 I pay now.

When I had just my boiler serviced last year, prior to taking out this cover, I was shocked to be charged almost £100 by a person recommended to me by a neighbour. And this on an almost new Valiant boiler too & I thought it quite expensive compared to what I'd paid in my previous home.

£100 is a lot. I get my boiler serviced once a year and it's £50 from a gas engineer in the village.
