Computer Crashes: Touch Pad stops working

Hi,
I have Lenovo U31 laptop with Windows 10 installed. It keeps on crashing. I get a blue screen with the error message "Critical_Process_Died". The laptop then restarts, but then the touchpad does not work. I have to go into device manager, uninstall the mouse driver, then restart to get the touchpad to work again. I have tried updating the mouse driver, but it says it is up to date. Any ideas on how to fix this?
Thanks

Yes, it came pre-installed with windows 10.0 -
Try running the lenovo system update utility, if not pre-packaged with your machine, you can get it at
https://support.lenovo.com/gb/en/documents/ht080136
It will ensure your whole system has the latest working Lenovo-recomended drivers without any of the faff!
If that fails, come back and ill try to help further0 -
yes, W10 is NOT very friendly when it comes to drivers, that is pretty much a sure bet........Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple

Thanks, I updated the driver using that link. The laptop crashed again, but this time round the mouse did not stop working.
Any ideas on how to stop the crashes? A blue screen appears with a message at bottom saying "Critical_Process_Died".0 -
Got anti-virus? Try disabling and see if anything changes.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”
