  • Bobcrowther, you just posted here to be pedantic about how I've spelt a brand of cat food?? I think everyone knows which brand I meant.

So why not spell it correctly in the first place?
For all we know you are a major cat food importer.

God forbid if you follow any of my posts seriously, I'm known around these forums for my grammar and spelling problems, BUT i have MS and this is how this degenerative disease is like for me so get off the high horse we understood what the person was saying and stop being a princess.

My 20 year old male neutered cat was put to sleep after a stroke. He never had an illness in his life.I always fed him wet and dry food mixed together with a bowl of water always available.I obviously must have been feeding him well for him to have lived to such a ripe old age and I dont think there would be any problem with the lady continuing to feed her cat both wet and dry

GoCat caused crystals to grow in my male cat's bladder, and he had to go onto a special diet food.
The cat i have now is a fussy sod and will only eat James Wellbeloved turkey dry food. he has these biscuits down all the time and i get trough 1.5kg in 4-5 weeks. He also has wet food, but only 1 pouch a day now.

For the poster who wanted a picture, it won't let me post links! He's black and white and chunky haha!

Weedee that is my partners opinion too! He had a cat that lived on this food til an old age. Maybe I just worry a bit as I know I couldn't be healthy on a diet of poor quality foods.

Scaredy_cat I'll keep an eye on his biscuit consumption but we only give him small amounts at a time. He's not had any toilet issues since we first brought him home and he was pooping about 4 times a day but thats probably because he was eating different food with us. Now he only poops once a day! :T

all dried food can cause crystal to form in cats bladder - wet or raw food generally will not - the defining factor being water.....

Well I got some Butchers for my Eric - he loved it. That was last week.

This week he sniffs at it then decides I've dosed it with cyanide. With a flick of his tail he shimmies through the cat flap and saunters off to see what's on the menu at his girlfriend's next door.
