Homebuy direct

Has anyone had any experience of selling a home buy direct property. We have sent valuation and took 10days to reject this, we amended the issue and resent. We have received a welcome letter 10days later. What I am wanting to know is it states 6 weeks on the website until the solicitor receives the redemption figure where we can finalise the sale. Is it from the date of emailing the valuation to home buy direct or is it 6 weeks from the welcome letter?
Also as the valuation is now a month old and only has 3 months validity of I end up having to do a desktop valuation does this reset the whole process or just follow on.
Is there anything I should be instructing my solicitor to sort so I can complete as soon as possible?
Thanks in advance
