Hi
When I sorted out my mortgage both my wife and I setup a Credit Expert account. I cancelled mine shortly after, however my wife forgot to. Anyway a couple of months ago she had a new card, and I noticed they are still taking the monthly payment on her new card. She has not updated her details with them and this is a recurring card payment on my Online statement.
Do CE have authority to obtain our new card details without us supplying them? I would have thought this was an illegal practice.
Thanks.

Fortunately, they don't need your new card details to carry on charging you, they can carry on using the old card as she authorised it when it was still valid. Otherwise they would be pursuing you some other way for the charges if you had failed to pay them.Hi

Just cancel the contract and they will simply stop taking the monthly charge you agreed to pay them.Optimists see a glass half full
