Hello moneysaving community .
I bought few month ago flat and I change interior layout so I have question for you .
How in legal way can I get consent for already interior change in layout of the flat .
I split huge 26m2 living room to room 10m2 and 15 m2 living room (from both side were windows ).
Wall is made simple stud and plaster board with insulation inside .
What kind of suprises from managment or council may i expect ? Approximately cost ? Penalties ?
Thanks
Adam

What does your lease say about changes. Mine says I can't knock down walls, it has nothing about creating new ones.0

You should contact your freeholder for permission.
You also need to contact building control for approval, for which there is a fee. They won't penalise you if things comply. If they don't, you may have some remedial work.
Obvious things would be the opening sizes and heights of each window. And possibly a requirement for fire doors.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
