Light visible 1930's loft.

I live in a 1930's house, for over 30 years. The roof space has no felt and you can see daylight. It's never leaked in all that time. You won't have any problems with mould as the air is always circulating.0

Just to give you another side, we live in a 1880 cottage and it had no felt and plenty of light came through tiles. With every storm a tile would move and we would get a leak and one year it snowed and filled the loft with snow! I have pics to prove it lol. So last year we took the plunge and re-roofed.
It's made a big difference to keeping heat in the house this winter, our bedrooms have been so hot, we already had insulation so can only put it down to the new felt and tiles.0
