Hi.
I have received an offer from Woucher for a sports action camera but its a name I have not come across before:
toy meets world action sports camera 1080p.
I am on a tight budget so stretching to the go pro equivalent is pushing my luck with she he most be obeyed.
Has anyone come across this camera and if so have a bit of a review on its performance. Struggling to find any reviews which in itself may be saying something.
Thanks

The Go Pro equivalent is around £160

8MP, 1080P
I would say, you get what you pay for!0 -
Thanks for the response. The one I have seen through woucher is being offered for 30 quid instead of a hundred:

This site has reviews complete with sample videos from most of the action cameras

the one your looking at is not unlike the SJ4000 ? ( about £50 on ebay ) but might be complete different

I'd be careful with that site. I believe it breaks UK law as it does not provide a registered company address. I suspect it also breaks trademark law by saying that the camera has a "GOPRO interface".
Also, in contravention of domain registry rules, the domain is registered to an individual, rather than a company, and his full name is not used.

At best, they'll probably drop-ship you a knock-off camera from China. If I had the inclination, I'd report them to Trading Standards and see what they say.0 -
I would highly recommend the Mobius action camera. I use it as a car dashcam.

Bought this one from Amazon after doing quite a bit of reading, and not wanting to shell out for a Go Pro.

Which is the actual SJCam4000, a lot of the others are low quality clones. If you buy from above, buy from Mini Kitty. Quality is excellent and it comes with a load of brackets etc. Dig through the reviews on the site.
The WOWcher one is probably a clone.
Very impressed with it so far.0 -
Hi i have just purchased the action cam from wowcher "toymeetsworld" it took nearly a month for it to be delivered and when arrive the specifications was not as described, and wonder where do i stand for a full money refund and not a wowcher credit refund if i have no luck from the merchant they do the offer with? as in the past i bought one other item from them and that was faulty to but they tell me a full refund i cant have before and i bought this camera only because it was a good offer and nothing else on there site interests me to buy.
many thanks0 -
For an budget action cam I'd definitely recommend the SJCAM SJ4000. The quality is pretty decent for the price (it's not hard to find reviews about the model/brand recommending it). Gotta warn you though there's lots of fakes or wannabes using "SJ" as part of their naming convention on their generic cams in order trick us buyers.0
