Debt collector letter

Hi,

I have been receiving letters from a company called lowell finance limited about a debt for £193. The debt has dropped off my credit report in 2015 which was default. I contacted the company stating to prove the debt stating that I don't acknowledge anything and that it is statue barred. These t a letter back saying that it isn't as a payment was made in 2010 for 32.19 no such payment has been made. The debt it self is an old overdraft with barclays a student account. Any help please

When in 2010? Keep that later safe, because some time this year, the six years is going to up on that £32.19 as well, and then Lowell Finance won't have a leg to stand on.

They state that is was October 2010 but no payment has been made.
Can they still file a ccj even though the default has dropped off. Should I ask for proof of payment with out acknowledging the debit
