current account switch query (debits due soon)

Hi everyone, I am looking to change my current account to Halifax reward, but have not used the new service yet so have a question.
I would like to do it as soon as possible in case they withdraw the offer, but all of my direct debits come out in the next 7 days between the 12th and 14th.(except for council tax) Can I still switch now, or should I wait until they have been paid to avoid problems?

The offer has only just started so not going to get pulled by the time your DD go out.

You can start the switch now, the first date you can choose is 7 days from the application so will be around the 15th anyway.

The DD's would come out of your switching account if its not been completely switched and covered by switchers OD, (if applicable)

No need to wait, unless you want too.

It takes a minimum of 7 days from applying for the switch until the switch takes effect, so all your DDs due between 12th and 14th will go out of your old account even if you apply for switch today (8th)
