Where have all the switching deals gone?

Options
I'm looking around for another switching deal and it seems like a lot of banks are no longer offering any sort of switching bonus. I've already received a bonus from First Direct, HSBC and Halifax.

Anyone got any recommendations of where else I can go for a switch bonus?

Many thanks.

  • M and S are still offering a £100 gift card to spend in M and S. Simply open an M and S current account and switch another UK current account (using CASS) with two acrive DD's within 3 months of opening the new account.

A lot of promos ended at the end of the tax year. I am sure more will be launched sooner or later.

Do you have to switch to get the £105 or just open an account?

It might be that the penny has dropped and the bean counters have found out that paying someone to become a customer is unprofitable.

Think about it the supermarkets one by one are dropping BOGOF, price matching etc.

Until someone realises they are losing market share and another round of discounts / offers starts.

Market share is one thing - keeping a profitable customer is better than keeping 10 who are not.
