I've been using my current comping email since I started this hobby, but since last year I've been intermittently getting those spam emails supposedly from myself.

Every time I change my password and it's okay for a short time, but now I'm getting 2-3 of these a week.

I only enter competitions on here.

I'm on a new computer (sadly had to buy this one). :o

I've been unsubscribing from the newsletters that aren't important, and will update the others as I go, but will keep the old email open in case of any wins from recent entries meanwhile.

But how do I update my details with my new email address?

1. on MSE ( IGNORE- FOUND IT)

2. Those daily magazines that don't give you a separate account section like Woman and Woman's Own.

My outstanding ones: Prima, Real People, Country Living, House Beautiful, Life, Death, Prizes and Good Housekeeping.

I'm sure there's something obvious that I've missed, so apologies if it is obvious, but it is Friday. :D

Thanks.

You can change email address on Life, Death, Prizes. Just log on, then go to http://comps.lifedeathprizes.com/puzzles.php, and go to account details, its the second line down in the list on the left.

Not sure about the other sites, but you could just re-register with the new email address. Thats what I did when I changed my email address.

I figured since they are dailies that allow multiple entries there shouldn't be any problems, as long as you don't try and enter comps using both addresses on the same day.

I wanted to change my email address on the magazine dailies at the moment.

You can definitely do that on life, death, prizes as I've done it myself. Just use the link in my first post. Then next time you log on, you'll log on with the new email address and enter the dailies as normal.
