Student House Bills - Quick Question

Johnny,
With regards to everybody paying bills I've found the easiest and most reliable way is to setup a 'house account' with someone like HSBC and every month all four of you put in aprx. £30 each (utils usually cost no more than £5pppw) via direct debit and directly pay utility companies through that account.
Then at the end of your time at the residence if there's money excess money left in the house account simply divide it equally and close the account.UK2 Happy Chappy0 -

Well, one is my fiance and the other one has plenty of guitars and other such stuff for me to "borrow" if he doesn't pay me! Seriously though, it would be better to put it in everyone's name but I didn't really want the fun of setting up an account in all our names as the other guy has an awful credit rating. And it has worked pretty well, luckily in our case.0
