Is Bravecto bad for dogs?

As a dog lover I read a lot of posts on facebook etc about dogs, and stumbled by accident on a large group called 'does Bravecto kill dogs', I was shocked at what I was reading, and it seemed way too large to be 2 or 3 disgruntled customers.

We got worming tablets from our vet at Christmas and I checked and they are Bravecto. Our dog is still with us, but now im worried it may of harmed her and we shouldnt use it, any advice please?7

The overwhelming evidence is that it's safe, that's not saying that some dogs won't have a reaction but the same can be said for any drug from Metacam to routine vaccinations.
