PPI, Death and Bankruptcy

I'm not sure where my friend stands with this. Herself and her husband went bankrupt in 2009. He has since passed away in 2010.
She claimed on PPI from one of his credit cards and had been made an offer, however, it has been sent to the official receiver.
Can anyone shed some light as we are unsure of where she stands

The rules are nice and clear on this one.
If the PPI premium was paid prior to being discharged from the bankruptcy, then the redress payment on a successful complaint goes to the OR. If the PPI premium was paid after discharge then she gets the redress payment.
So, in other words, if they went bankrupt in 2009, she would only be entitled to redress for any premiums that were paid after 2009. Any paid before that go to the OR.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. Additionally, as the claim related to "one of his credit cards"; if the husband went bankrupt in 2009, and died in 2010, it would very unlikely the PPI was purchased post bankruptcy.0 -
