Bosch washing machine problem

I've searched online but can't see anything about my particular issue with my washing machine. It's only 3 years old so I'm hoping it's not a huge problem to solve! Basically, whatever program I put it on, it finishes after about 50% of the time. It spins (usually!) and washing things, but the cycle is really quick. When I use the eco saver program that should last an hour, it's done in 30 mins. Yesterday a wash supposedly going to take 2hr 20 mins was done in just over an hour.
Any ideas?
Also, the washing is stone cold when it's done. Can't remember now whether it was always like that!

It should be cold when it comes out, all the rinses are with cold water.
Can't help with the other bit, I don't know what sort of electronic wizardry there is in your machine. Is there a troubleshooting bit at the end of the instruction book?Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.0 -
Thanks. No, nothing about that in the book. It's an Avantixx 6[STRIKE]Total debt 1.11.10 £23,446[/STRIKE]Save £6k in 2015 #129 £6121.66/£6000Save £6k in 2016 #39 £6000/£60000

Ah! See my earlier post about "Bosch w/m on the blink"
I tested the cotton programme at 90 degrees and the glass door never heated up. Be very careful if you do try this as, if it is working, the door (and water) will be HOT! The manual carries a warning about this, so exercise caution.
I am advised that this is a heating element failure and that if the water doesn't heat up properly the electronic programmes go awry.
My initial problem (before realising it wasn't heating) was that it seemed to be permanently stuck on wash cycle and wouldn't progress to the rinse and spin cycles. Although I could select rinse and spin manually. Your problem may be caused by something else as your programmes are running through to quickly rather than not stopping.0 -
Thank you. I will try the 90 degree wash tip and see if it's heating up.[STRIKE]Total debt 1.11.10 £23,446[/STRIKE]Save £6k in 2015 #129 £6121.66/£6000Save £6k in 2016 #39 £6000/£60000

If the heating element has failed then it should fail to complete any cycle at all (except a cold wash), because it will wait a certain time to receive an 'at correct temp signal'. If that signal never arrives, it will throw out an error code and stop the cycle, not just continue on a cold wash.
So I suspect you've got a programmer or PCB fault rather than a failed heating element, but that is easily tested at above by running any hot program. No free lunch, and no free laptop
