County court action stayed! Help

I had a small credit card debt which defaulted in June 2010. Two months ago (4 months before statute barring kicked in) Cabot financial decided to take me to county court for the debt.
I lodged a defence against their county court claim and they have failed to respond to my defence. The action has now been stayed. Does this mean that the default won't fall off my credit file in June because of this?
I am trying to repair my credit and need to know if this default will now remain on my file even after 6 years.
