not sure if this has been mentioned somewhere else.
Just wondering when you switch accounts-gone to Santander 123 account- do you have to inform my employer and child benefit etc? I know they do all the DDs just a bit worried in case I have missed something. TIA

Credits are re-directed for 36 months and the new bank will notify the sender of the credit accordingly to re-direct to your new bank account. So you don't need to do anything.
You need to sort out any recurring debit card payments e.g. Netflix subscriptions as your card details alter.

Thanks Pinkdalek. Don't have Netflix or any other subscription thing paid by card. I made a list of all DDs,bills etc before the switch and nothing came up.
